Self Portrait: Final Version

かお.jpg

This portrait shows my characteristics. The light shines on only one half of my face. The contrast between black and white shows my mildness and strength. On the white side of my face, I used soft edges and didn’t color so much to emphasis the contrast of black and white. To express the strength and dynamics, I shaded not only all parts of the other side of my face, but drew some detailed light and created depth. I blended the edges of the contrast well, so the face has a clear contrast and unity, too. There is a negative space on the right side of this image. This negative space makes a balance and quietness on this picture.
